Following tradition, students from Canyon Oaks High School were invited to the State of the City Address by Mayor Tom Adams as his special guests as over 100 Monrovians gathered at the Krikorian movie theaters on the evening of February 13th to hear the amazing things going on in our community.Canyon students had the privilege of mingling with the Superintendent of education, Dr. Katherine Thorossian, members of the the board of education as well as other city officials. City dignitaries were introduced as popcorn and water were served. The accomplishments of 2016 and plans to improve city transportation and infrastructure in 2017 were proudly mapped out on the big screen by various city council men and women.
