Karli Gordon and Jaine Lindsay of the Pomona Valley National Council of Negro Women (NCNW) reached out recently to Mr. TeDese Ross to offer turkeys and meals to families of our students at Canyon Oaks High School. Mr. David Duisberg, Mr. Randy Medina and Mr. Calvin McKendrick set out with Mr. Ross on Tuesday, November 24 to distribute the generous donations from NCNW. NCNW is a historic civil rights organization committed to advancing opportunities and improving the quality of life for African American women. NCNW’s mission is to lead, develop, and advocate for women of African descent as they support their families and communities. However, they spread their mission and purpose far beyond those directly associated with their charter. On behalf of the entire Mountain Lion Pride , we would like to thank Mrs. Gordon and Mrs. Lindsay!
